NFHS says game-ending rules are a local option. Here, the state HS league does not endorse the tie-breaker rule. We play extra innings just like the MLB boys do. Keep playing the game until...

a) Somebody wins, or
b) Game called on account of darkness (if no lights).

In the case of b), tie scores are allowed in regular season play.
