Best l ine I heard all year, 1st game of the season. Player has tape over new piercing with a stud. Player says she has a doctor's note saying she can play with the earring. My partner says he has a rule book that says you can't!

I did allow them to play, last game of regular season and apparently had been allowed all season. Did I do the right thing? They appeared to be harmless enough and looking at the rule above they would not qualify as jewelry. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

If the bands were wide and yellow, I might have a problem
with them. For necklaces the rule does include cloth or string types as being prohibited from wearing. I would definiately not allow the pitcher to wear it if I judged it to be distracting to the batters.

I can't do that. All I can do, if I choose, is delete or edit a post that some member finds offensive. Not only is the search function under review, so is the search (for members) function. mick |
