I wish it was 70. We have been below freezing for 30 days just west of Chicago. There is about 8" of snow on the ground and first games are about 5 weeks away. First we have to melt the snow then dry out the fields. It is not unusual to have games snowed out all the way through early May. The last day of freezing temperatures normally falls around mid May. My son's birthay is May 5th. I remeber some cookouts were it was sunny and in the 70s and othertime flipping burgers in a snowstorm.

Hope we have an early spring. Just had our rules clinic and intepriation yesterday and can't to start calling a game!
