Posted on another board, but realized that all of you are not on
both, so replaying it here. This weekend I took part in an AFA Qualifier. Sat. night at 7:15, I started a game between two very good teams. At 10:42 we finally had a winner. Not sure of how many ITB innings were played. The 1hr 20min game time expires with a tie and we just kept on playing. The winning team went down to 8 players when their pitcher tried to stretch a double into a triple and hit 3B wrong, wrecking her ankle. The player happen to be the asst. coaches DD. While everyone was attending the injured player, the asst coach slapped the head coach knocking his hat off. She then proceeded to use a string of four letter words and entered the dugout and begin throwing equipment. I ejected her. It was 3 innings later I found out she was the mother of injured player...Felt kinda bad at this point. However, I felt the ejection was justified because of her action. Would you as the umpire have enforced an ejection? glen [Edited by whiskers_ump on Nov 25th, 2003 at 08:24 PM]
