handling uncaught third

On uncaught third strikes, the BR either can attempt first base or is automatically out (runner on first, less than two outs).

For automatically out, do you know an authorized mechanic for announcing the out or not.
Some say it is required like any out, others that it is coaching when it helps the runner or defense.

I will immediately verbalize, "Batter is out!" because it's no different than any other situation where the batter/BR is immediately out.

If the batter tries to run for first, I will verbalize, "She's out! She's out! She's still out!"

Oddly, U3K is not covered in the 2024-2025 NFHS softball umpires manual . I just checked there to see if there was an authorized or approved mechanic.

I think saying nothing when the batter is immediately out on a U3K can lead to needless confusion and chaos, especially with many coaches instructing their girls to run on any U3K scenario - even when they are immediately out by rule.

I did check both the NFHS and USA Softball manuals, but nothing there.
I agree with the announcement reducing chaos, but looking for authoritative
comment on whether it is coaching the defense to ignore the BR.
We don't announce "out" on an ordinary strikeout.

The runner at first often achieves second while the defense is playing the BR.
Don't we hold the teams responsible for knowing the outs, count and rules?
