Agree with Cecil on the "accidental appeal".
Can we revisit the original question about an "accidental force"? Scenario: Bases loaded, two outs, two strikes. Batter swings and misses on ball in the dirt and takes off toward first. Catcher digs the ball out of the dirt and decides to throw to 2B to get the out. As she steps to make the throw, she steps on the plate.
