interference

Do you agree that NFHS 7-4-c applies when a catcher tries to recover an uncaught third strike in the batters box,
and the batter kicks the ball?
Ignore intent.

straight off the bat

Can you visualize and describe a ball straight off the bat that no defender had a play on that hits a runner?

How about R1 on 2B with no outs. Lefty pull hitter at the plate, so the infielders are in a shift with 3 defenders on the right side of 2B. F5 is playing five feet off the line in front of 3B.

On the pitch, R1 is attempting to steal 3B. The batter swings at the pitch hitting a ground ball in the vicinity of where F6 would normally play. The ball hits R1 after one bounce.

Possible to hit a runner and not be dead/out if no fielders passed.
