Fans and parents

This video pretty much sums it up...it's baseball based, but I think you'll get the idea....

On another softball forum there was a video posted a few days ago from a disgruntled parent that had lost a game by 1 run. Video was of a pitcher in super slow motion and they were complaining the pitcher was "crow hopping". Of course there are 8 pages of comments talking about knee being bent and angle of knee in relation to imaginary line from who knows what to something else, the way the toe is pointed etc etc etc.

Even freeze framing it I cannot tell if the pitchers foot is off the ground for sure and yet there are comment after comment about how could the umpires be so blind that they cant see the leap and replant. Even after posting the USA clarification on pitching styles and pointing out that if you cant even see it in super slow motion and freeze frame how would an umpire see the supposed violation in real time the ridiculous comments go on and on.

Be me: just working the bases

1B Coach: She's ILLEGAL! That's illegal! You gotta call that!

F1: Keeps throwing with a "hitch in her giddyup" but never replants or hops

...

Me, between pitches/innings: "Coach, really ... I've seen her throw three innings and haven't called an IP. What's illegal?

1B Coach: She's illegal!!! Can't you SEE it!

Me: What's illegal?

1B Coach: "nothing relevant to the pitching motion, but subtle references to 'we don't know what we're doing out here'

Me: ignores 1B assistant and puts him on the radar

(Sorry for text meme format but I thought it was applicable here.)
