Why all the yakking about logo when the shirts, etc. only have the 3 letters?
I assume the shirt that looks black on my screen is really navy blue.
I guess it was time to emulate USSSA with the security guard look.

Maybe my comments don't matter as I'll be retired by 2020.

Here they had a chance to do something really unique, creative, and visually interesting, but came up with something that a 10 year old could do using Word.

More like the Charlie Harper look.

That's why they add the word "Softball"... so there is no confusion with the USA bowling team!

What does that mean for my ASA Softball Umpire uniform?
As one of the largest officiating organizations in the U.S., the ASA/USA Softball umpire program is an irresistible cash cow. That legacy will continue through our rebrand to USA Softball since they all must buy new uniforms beginning in the 2017 season and they will all have to complete their purchases by 2019. The new USA Softball umpire gear will be available for purchase through OfficialGear.com, the sports officials’ one-stop shop.
What they meant to say in the USA Softball Rebrand Key Points document.

I'll second that. Some multi-color embroidered logo would have been nice. Maybe that would affect the margins on sales.

I think the latest "ASA" logo looks better than this new one. And how long will it take a plate cap to look like crap with those big white letters on it?

I'm not buying any of that stuff. I think NH will grandfather the old uni's for a while. And I'm getting real close to retiring as well.

I believe the best piece (design and presentation) ASA has ever put out is the ASA/USA Elite hat. Or even the leisure wear cap would be better.

Sometimes you have to wonder if they actually ask anyone outside of a small group of "yes" people about uniform changes.

Well, I will have to say they missed the opportunity to really make the umpire uniforms look nice. These appear to be pretty plain to me. It's a shames. I agree some multicolor logos would make them look much more professional.

I was also told that there will be a 3rd colored shirt added to the mix. Possibly a tan one that would go with the navy blue or the gray pants?? Nothing firm yet.
