trail shoes

Hi Refnrev
I also wear NB turf shoe for reffing and I love them. I'll have to get the model number when I'm home tonight, but they are a solid black with agressive tread. They have worked well on dry grass, wet grass, mud, as well as artifical (wet and dry) fields.

Good luck

Refnrev,
I wear either my Copas or Sambas depending whether the field is wet (Copas) or dry/hard (Sambas). While they are not completely black, they are the most comfortable for me (I play in the same shoes, as well).

P.S. I NEVER wear Copas on the basketball court.

I've given some serious consideration to trying these:

The bottoms of those look a little like the old Pony's I wore those for about 4 seasons. Like the looks of those NBs.

Hey, if I could find a good pair of used copas I snatch them up in a minute and wear them forever! Still think they're the best soccer shoe on the market. Wish my son would wear them in college instead of those stupid patent interchangeable things he loves so much.

Those are kids shoes. What size do you wear? Do they come in adult sizes?

My children have the same problem. They take their shoes off and leave them wherever they are. We have started a routine when they get home from school, they put their shoes on the shelf in the closet. It is much easier to find them that way.

Soccer shoes are never hard to find. Just inhale deeply... follow your nose towards the awful smell and look down. Viola! There they are!

Adidas Kanadia Trail Shoe

Yeah... for several seasons I had been wearing some old school Adidas Telstars, but either age or mileage have caught up to my feet.

No matter what type of Dr. Scholl's insert, cushioned socks, toe tape etc. I went with, the Telstar's just weren't cutting it any more.

So this season I went with:
adidas Kanadia Trail Shoe Mens - Dick's Sporting Goods

However, I picked them up at Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse for $54.

8 games into season and they are so easy on my feet.
I do still wear the Dr. Scholl insert and Blistergard cushioned ankle socks under my tall black.

Good luck !
Paul
