My DD has anything but a compact swing, and she routinely thumps her back when she takes practice cuts. The extra flexibility may have something to do with it, but she was taught by a coach to do it...

If you are doing ASA or NSA games and always call this a strike, you are causing more problems for other blues than "the hands are part of the bat" morons. This is the #1 source of rule questions...
