No I went back and looked and listened. #15 was selected off the bench. The head coach for the opposing team was arguing with the crew that he got to select the shooter. Wild to say the least.

I remember an old case play as well. Something like A5 gathers a rebound and makes an outlet pass, but A1 has already turned gone up the floor. A5 can recover because they have not dribbled.

I understand illegal, but thought it may fall under "intent of player" like shooing and catching your own airball. Or potentially a fumble.

A1 has ended dribble with both feet on the floor. A2 makes a cut and then goes backdoor. A1 has released the intended pass for A2.

A1 retrieves the ball.

There is no penalty for fouling a 3 point shooter if we apply that interp to this.

Ball is gone and you score it if it goes (so ball is not dead)...

I need to find the 5 play Friday .. someone must of caught it late or misinterpreted it. They relayed it was a 3 regardless.
