Holding Article

Has anyone seen the new article in Referee with the different kinds of holding. Of course this has been published a number of times in different areas, but this is very nicely put together. All on one page, with photographic examples, and a nice overview. A good review for any new or experienced official. Unfortunately they no longer post full articles on referee's website, I'm sure you all can find a copy with some friends (of course following all copyright laws )

My copy arrived in the post this morning here in the UK, so I just read it today in fact. Nice article by George D, I'll be showing it to my crew for sure. Considering it is now out of season for you guys (but not for us, the season starts in a few weeks for most European countries) I thought all the articles in the Football section were good.

I recall reading a great article on holding by Bob M. I'd take his stuff before Referee mag. They've been known to provide incorrect information before.

I agree that Referee occasionally mess up in the answers to their quizzes and have to print corrections the next month.

However I have found that the articles they get from their guest writers (in the Mar2009 issue - Judson Howard, Jon Bible, George Demetriou) are pretty much spot on.
