Hammerhead Whistle

Does anyone of you has experience with a hammerhead whistle?

Best Whistle

If you already use a hammerhead - which one you prefer?

Fox 40 is the de facto standard. It's the one to use.

I find the Fox 40 to be too high pitch for football. I switched last season to a metal Acme Thunderer after hearing the Fox 40 on video and not liking the sound.

I too prefer the Acme Thunderer but they seem to be getting harder to find than when I started out. Fox40 does a better job marketing their product.

I also use a Fox F40 at the moment and we already discussed the following thread created by me: Hearing damage - using whistle

Hearing damage - using whistle

Our top officials mostly use Acme Thunderer.

Some guys of our league got a Hammerhead whistle in order to test it. That's why I asked for your experience with it.
How it works makes sense to me regarding safety and hearing damage!

Look at eSportsOnline. There you can get a case of the whistles (which will last, well, forever) for $63. I bought a case for my crew last season.
