What's the call.
A23 is running towards the sideline and fumbles the ball. B75 dives for the ball, and his legs touch out of bounds. He then recovers the ball while his legs are still out of bounds, but the ball is recovered in the field of play.
What's the call? Rulebook references too please. Thanks.

Don't have my book to comfirm the reference but the correct ruling is that A will maintain possession, assuming it is not a turn over on downs. Touching preceeds recovery. Since B was out of bounds the ball became dead when he touched the ball.
