Whistle Colors

I have noticed several NCAA officials on TV with what appears to be pastel colored whistles.
What is this all about?

The officials are also wearing those "LifeStrong" wristbands that are pink in color.

I had to take a second look too whenever I was watching TV. However, once I confirmed what color they were, I knew what they were doing. Pretty cool!
