Everytime I think about this, it brings a smile to my face. We have a gentleman, lets just say a "veteran official" who is truly a fun to work with. I can't think of anyone who doesn't know who he is. Every time he walks into the gym, people immediately say "Oh there's Harry...he's the guy who calls traveling like this." (Signaling with index fingers only.)
Anyhow, I asked Harry earlier this season if he was a Steeler fan and he asked me why. I said "Well, your strips are becoming black and yellow." He then said "That's because its the only officiating uniform I've ever worn since I started in '49."
I'm sure he's not as sharp as he was in '49 but I hope he's around forever.
