Verbalise. Not screaming loudly as you'll just look silly, but project a little, use the big voice. It really does help to slow your signals down which is always a good thing.
As has been said earlier, some levels (freshman, JV, or munchkin football) with small crowds they will be able to hear you fine.

It is both or either. The motion is legal until the shifts make it illegal. The shifts are legal until the motion makes them illegal. Either one without the other is legal. Together - they are illegal. So take your choice. I usually go with whatever one I DIDN'T use last time! |

Tip. Prior to blowing the ready for play after announcing the penalty make sure the mic is off. You have no idea how loud an amplified whistle is. I unfortunately do, as a result of making that mistake earlier this year.
