Great clinic

If you live within 3 hours of Sioux Falls, SD, you should plan next year on attending the Sioux Empire Officials Camp that I just got back from today. It is a 1 1/2 day clinic in which there are always two or more NFL officials who are clinicians as well as a dozen or so other college officials and supervisors from D-1, D-1AA, D-II, and NAIA. This year four NFL officials were their and are great to listen to and talk to. Bill Carollo (R), Mike Spanier (L), Joe Larrew (SJ), and Carl Madsen (U) were presenters and worked with us on the field during the scrimmages. I have gone the last five years and it is a great clinic for any official who is working HS ball. $50 for a day and a half is a great deal.

Ditto to Monte's comments. I live 5 hours away and I have gone the last 2 years. How many of you spent 15 minutes one on one (and I mean one on one) with a 2-time Super Bowl white hat? Or got tips from NFL U's, SJ's or LJ's? And got on the field tutoring from these guys as well as NFL training tapes?

I get so much out this camp that I get really fired up for the season so that I can apply it.

Did you guys get copies of the training tapes? I believe some people got copies of them in the past.

I have a bunch coming from Carollo. I'll let you know when I get them Grant. He is getting them at their up coming clinic I believe.
