If your umpire stands 7'11" which enables him to see over the offensive line into the backfield, he can call anything he chooses.

maybe in that rare instance. most umpires are large fellas, and i am not talking tall.

It's not your rsponsibility to make that call.
Linesman makes the call after receiving signal from line judge.
Your signals are too complicated. Simplify.
Conference after flag would have solved the problem with all contributing officals having input. Any flag can be waved off.
Pregame should cover responsibilities.

If my umpire stands 7'11", not only can he call anything he chooses, but he can tell me what to call and I probably will.

Unless his name is Shawn Bradley. 7'11", 365 lbs is much more intimitating than 7'11", 190 lbs.
