yes the spot was bagged and the off agreed the ball was firsted touch buy the punting team....still feeling robbed

Than you should have had the option of the result of the play or your ball at the point of first touching. Sounds like they missed this one.

Was this a sub varsity game. Here in NJ a lot of subvarsity games have cadet officials.

It was in Illinois and has to have been a lower level game with only a 3-man crew.

Could have been several new guys trying to figure this out. Sometimes the lower levels don't get the most experienced guys. Even Referees at the lower levels aren't the most experienced.

They likely made a mistake and will hopefully learn from it.
