Asics Patent Leather Shoes?

We can tell that it's a pair of Asics but it looks like that it's patent leather which I never saw Asics having these styles.

Anyone knows the style/code of this pair? I saw them from the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6RfftFxkXY

I sent a message to Asics asking about these shoes.

Here is their response.

Thank you for contacting ASICS America Corporation. The model in the video is going to be our Gel-Kinsei 5 in black/gold. It is actually going to be nearly all mesh, with no leather on it. We will be releasing a black/silver Nimbus 17 in July of this year, and does to appear to be available already on Footlocker's website, which I can attach below. I will attach some links to a couple of other all black models for you to look at below.

Spent about an hour blacking out those two shoes and there's the before and after.

Looks good until you start running in them. Then the white bottom flashes with every step you take.

That is, of course, assuming you run.

Some soccer guys say having white on your shoes makes it look like you are running faster due to the flashing.
