No Dickie V
I'm just thrilled to not have to listen to Dick Vitale. He makes basketball so hard to watch. I used to really enjoy him but he almost appears to be losing a bit of sanity as the years wear on. He can't focus on the game he is calling and goes off on tangents that have nothing to do with basketball, sometimes they might not even relate to sports at all.
with the exception of Doug Gottlieb, who I feel really is just a poor tv guy, it's a great announcer lineup. It is funny b/c I enjoy his radio show but tv games, he just annoys me. |

You mean arguing against technicals for trash talk before agreeing with a technical for trash talking?

Rich: Doug Gottlieb is an idiot when it comes to officiating. I just wanted to scream and smack him up side the head so hard he would wake up in the middle of next year's tournament. MTD, Sr.

Doug Gottlieb is brutal this game. This crew has missed some calls but you would think they were three blind mice the way Gottlieb has been critiquing every call.
His laughable commentary after the technical foul was, to quote Bob Knight, "the greatest travesty in announcing history." |
