I'm really enjoying the Kevin Harlan/Reggie Miller/Dan Bonner combo and bits of Jim Spanarkel. He does his best to balance out the Verne. Well, until he started talking about the spin on the ball in the UCLA goaltending play and threw a bunch of baseball speculation in there.

No Dickie V

I'm just thrilled to not have to listen to Dick Vitale. He makes basketball so hard to watch. I used to really enjoy him but he almost appears to be losing a bit of sanity as the years wear on. He can't focus on the game he is calling and goes off on tangents that have nothing to do with basketball, sometimes they might not even relate to sports at all.

with the exception of Doug Gottlieb, who I feel really is just a poor tv guy, it's a great announcer lineup. It is funny b/c I enjoy his radio show but tv games, he just annoys me.

At least he doesn't usually spout off criticism of the officials based on bad rules knowledge like so many of his peers.

On the plus side they put my two of my least favorite guys at the same site (Ian Eagle and Doug Gottlieb) but on the down side we don't get any Craig Sager.

From what I've seen, Brian Anderson is usually pretty good when he doesn't have Bill Schroeder dragging him down.

My God, these Maryland / Valpo announcers are horrible. Especially the color guy.
