No...but they may have told Roy W. that the ball only went off one player's hand, so by rule it is not reviewable. Now what hand that was is another story, and affected by the possibility that a foul maybe should have been called.

This actually happened to me in a game as the U2 of the crew. The veteran of the crew was the Trail and had a better relationship with the coach. The R came in and said to the coach, "My partner is asking if "we" have anything different. If we have to go to the monitor, I will huddle with the crew before we go to the table and explain we had a foul before the out of bounds."

Yes, it is best to change the call on the spot but sometimes crews do get together when the clock is stopped to see who has the best look and adjudicate it properly.

The coach understood and didn't say anything after that.
