ABA teams played at the Met Center in Bloomington. The St. Paul Civic Center didn't open until January 1, 1973 and was actually built for the Minnesota Fighting Saints of the old WHA. I'm guessing(and thats all it is because I am too young to remember) that they may have hosted an ABA exhibition game or two in the seasons after it opened to have the floor with the three point line. Also was the ABA 3 point distance the distance the NBA eventually adopted
