I wish this would this line of thinking would gain some traction. Mostly so I wouldn't look like an idiot being one of the few officials in the area actually calling this correctly.

Pretty much a text book travel that is just missed by way too many.

Some of the spin moves are difficult to get.

This one isn't.

That video is extremely well-selected as the footwork is very clear.
There is nothing marginal about this one. It is a blatant travel.

I was able to quickly pause the video three different times with the player holding the ball in both hands while his right foot is in contact with the floor on top of the volleyball line. When this foot is picked up and replaced on the floor before the shot, it is clearly a traveling violation.

I think the choice of video and the OP's thread title are disingenuous, at best.

I'd expect officials to see this one. It's easy to see at first viewing, in real speed.

Not all the spin moves are easy to see, or they're in traffic, or there's bodies surrounding the player with the ball. Or, just maybe, they're not all traveling.

This crusade, to me, is puzzling. Most of us call traveling when it occurs. However when someone tells me to watch it in slow mo or frame by frame, I'm not interested. I don't get that look on the floor and neither do the coaches and other people watching. The world continues to spin and the sun continues to rise.

This may be true, and I agree. But you can watch any Div I men's game and see this exact play (several times during the game) not ruled a travel.
