New umpire location between quarters
We have a new two-man mechanic between quarters, and I was wondering whether others are doing this.
Instead of the U going to the block in the direction of the division-line throw-in, he/she stands at the same spot as the 30-second time-out (tableside intersection of the circle and the division line). The rationale here is, it's a lot easier to inform teams of the intermission's first warning horn from that spot (in the same manner as time outs) than it is from the block. I think this is a good change. Has anyone else implemented it?

As far as I know, between quarters is treated as a full timeout...meaning the U, using two officials, should be at the center circle spot farthest away from the table.

This is what we do between quarters. I figured it was pretty universal...guess not.
