Ref Shirts

I love the ref shirts at The Officials Choice, but they haven't had the ones with the black side panel. Well, I need another shirt or two, and I don't want to wait much longer. Does anyone know some ref shirts, with the black side panel, that are like those at The Officials Choice?

On that note, does anyone know a place online where you can get ref shoes fairly cheap?

Try Torch's Referee & Umpire Supplies at referee, umpire, supplies, equipment, basketball, football, baseball, shirts, shoes, accessories, athletic, price, quality, face masks, whistles, officials, sports. Ask for Torch (a goombah of mine) and use my name (no I do not get a kick back). But you will get quality merchandise at a reasonable price. Torch is the Florida distributor for Purchase Officials Supplies of Akron, Ohio.

Thanks.

I don't need pants, but I'd like a new pair. I saw that they have "Smitty's Pleated Basketball Pants". I assume they don't have belt loops, but I wanted to make sure, and ask what you think of them. At $39.99 I'm a bit leery, but intrigued.

Purchase Officials Supplies (including Torch) sell Smitty's pants and shirts.

Yeah, I know. I was asking about the quality of them. The ref pants I've gotten before are more expensive. I know Smitty makes good stuff, but I'd like to make sure before ordering.

I'm on my third pair of Smitty's pants and I'll grab another pair before the HS season starts. I switched from Sansabelts four years ago. The quality is equal and they cost significantly less...definitely a better value. I like the fit better on the Smitty's as well. I think part of the reason they fit better and cost less is that they're made especially for officials. They're available at just about any online supplier, but I too get my stuff from Torch at Purchase Officials Supplies.

Smitty will be the only one making the old "big league" style shirts with the stripe up the side as majestic will no longer be making them because they have new ones coming out next year.

Not familiar with Smitty pants. Do they have the stretchy waist band like the Gerry Davis baseball pants? Has anyone tried the Gerry Davis basketball pants?
