what type foul?
Shot goes thru the basket, A4 & B4 get tangled up under the basket. A4 elbows B4, B4 reacts by giving A4 a little kick in leg.
Double foul called. Is it a double intentional or a double tech? I know the ball would be in-bounded at POI. Thanks in advance. |

The technical can be intentional or flagrant. If it doesn't meet intentional or flagrant definitions then the contact is ignored during this dead ball period. |

Agree. The contact would be an intentional "personal" foul, which, being during a dead ball, becomes a technical instead.

When the NFHS and NCAA changed its rules for TF penalties: In the Ancient Days, the penalty for TFs that were neither Intentional nor Flagrant was only one FT. Since the penalty for all TFs now is two free throws the need to classify a TF as Intentional really has no meaning. That said, yes one can describe certain TF actions as "intentional".
