We took care of business and coach does not lose any games, as he should not have.

Plus, it seems that by posting your situation, you helped CounttheBasket learn something (and perhaps a few others), so that he will now always know this rule for a HS game.

I'm sorry to say this, but knowing how each technical foul is classified by studying the rules is the way this doesn't happen.

Even with the aid of the Tecnical Foul Penalty Summary, I find myself needing to review those penalties often. I think it's because I have to use them so infrequently, that I find it somewhat difficult to keep fresh in my mind.

Exactly. Review them often.

We had a session in an association meeting on bench-clearing incidents. You'd be amazed at how many thought we should shoot TF free throws for everyone coming off the bench. I think only one person in the room had ever had a bench-clearing situation and you could tell that many people didn't think it was a big deal that they didn't know the rules.
