Been a long time for these two officials

Baylor at Iowa State on ESPN2 right now... Officials working 2-man after one official pulls hamstring.

Gerry Pollard pulled his hamstring with 17:18 in the 2nd half and did not return. Mark Whitehead and David Hall finished the game and did quite well.

It was interesting watching them do 2-man at that level. Just get into a position best that would allow them to make a call.

A good lesson for many of us. I see officials working 2-man that will not cross the lane. Still can't figure out why, either.

Speed, size, and athletism of todays athlete (JV level and below) it is almost a must in most cases.
