I had 2 games cancelled yesterday where the drive was 45 minutes one way. Then, I picked up one game that was a 15 minute drive total. And, we finished in less than 1 hour. I'll take that tradeoff any time.

I had a game yesterday... a drive that normally takes me 1.5 hours one way took me 4 hours to get there and 4.5 hours to get home. The interstates were actually worse than the state highways, so I took those home!

I lost count at 60 cars in the ditches on the interstate. I think it was close to 100 cars by the time my drive was complete.

...Got cancelled today. I'm actually kind of relieved as it was going to be on the same roads that I had to venture on yesterday!

18 below real temperature here Monday morning. -40 wind chill. The governor closed all schools in Minnesota on Monday and many more remained closed yesterday.

I've lost a number of dates already this year for crazy reasons. Visiting school has conferences and doesn't want to play, a school band concert, a game scheduled on caucus day etc... I hate it but it comes with the territory.
