The $5,000 flop

And no, I didn't add the explosion thing at the end. I'm just posting this version for the sake of expediency.

At any rate, Harden shouldn't have had to wait for the league to fine him. He should've walked into the league offices voluntarily and handed over his debit card.

For me this also shows the dangers of calling across the lane.

It could go along with this...

But gee, shouldn't we call everything we see in order to "get the call right?"

Could the C say something to James Harden on his way to pick up the ball such as "don't do that again" or should he just let it go?

I wouldn't, but I'd be having a good chat with the L in the locker room.

I'd need the time to utilize my professional filters.

Well, I'd argue that you actually have to see it before that could be discussed.

A friend and fellow official, one of the highly-rated NF officials in our area, works for the NBA, and evaluates every game played by our local team. His notes are reviewed by, and his questions are responded to, by each officiating crew, as part of their post-game. His notes deal with who called/no-called what, from which position, at what time, with video refernce of the game. I understand that is the procedure for each NBA team.
