Summer Time Camp Time

Looking to see if anyone has been to the 3 camps listed below and can provide feedback on their experience and the level of most campers:

1) Referee's Choice in VA

2) Rise to the Top in CO

3)Emerald City in WA

Thanks!

I've been to the Emerald City camp twice. Most campers are at least accomplished high school officials.... a lot of them are JC trying to break into D-3 and D-2. A few big names there teaching, but Greg Nixon is the big dog of the camp. Lots of information in the classroom on the first night and then a lot of reffing over 2 days. They use crews of 4 and you get substituted liberally (yanked out) to get instant feedback. Don't go if you have a problem with clinicians getting into your grill a little bit.

Referee's Choice is run by best friends Mike Eades and Roger Ayers. Great teaching camp and they have a deal with one D3 supervisor that they will provide the name of 1 camper to be picked up by that D3 supervisor sight unseen, just based on their recommendation.

Roger and Mike are 2 of the nicest big dawgs you'll ever meet in officiating.

Camp season starts for me in less than 2 hours. Facility is 5 minutes from my office, couldn't ask for a better venue.
