I guess firing basketballs at players isn't against school policy. Probably the 'at will' versus 'under contract' which meant hearings and a procedure that needed following. But, assault (firing the basketballs) and battery (connecting with the fired basketballs) wasn't plain enough for the counsel to understand. |
