Cheerleaders and illegal contact

Had a situation once where an officials was questioned by the Police for assault when he ran into cheerleaders that were standing on the court. Rather long story and I have told it here before. It did not help we did not have a very competent AD that knew his role and could have stopped the entire situation from escalating.

I cannot stand cheerleaders as a general position for this and many other reasons.

No link. It was not a public story. It was something that happen in the game I was working. Charges were dropped but it was absurd for sure.
