I would think that compression undershirts are no different than regular undershirts ... long sleeves are allowed (at least in NFHS). Not exactly sure what they would be getting away with.

Not sure what they're "getting away with" as it's legal. But, if you mean, trying to call attention to themselves by being different within the rules - then yeah, I agree.

I'm seeing it more often. Perfectly legal as long as it meets the undershirt requirements.

Did a college game this season where a player had a long sleeve undershirt for medical reasons and a letter signed by Art Hyland authorizing it.

Once worked a homeschooled team that wore long pants. They put up over 100 points.

I see this almost every game this season. I could not tell you when one player did not have this configuration of their uniform.

Peace

I also see at least one long sleeved undershirt, legal color, every game, usually a boys game, but it's just a regular long sleeved undershirt, not a compression undershirt.

I was wondering if you were talking about college (where it is illegal, as I understand it.)

I have not seen these kinds of issues at the NCAA level. Seems like college coaches have more control over this stuff.

Peace

They should, it's actually illegal there as opposed to high school.

What I mean is that you do not even see items that are illegal or have to address the issues. In HS we see all kinds of things we have to bring to the attention of a coach or hear, "They let us wear it before...." crap. It is one thing to have an item that is not very well known as illegal, but it has always been illegal to wear a lot of these things in HS and they never say anything to their players at the HS level to prevent these from being an issue.

Peace
