My P the other night had more Under Armor on than an early Ravens Team on a commercial! Never saw that before. But hey, whatever works best for you......

lol...I've been wearing it for years. I know quite a few guys that use it...also, if you have to share a locker room with gals...its not so bad to get caught with your pants down.

I don't carry things that are much different than others, but less of it. For instance, no need for any hair products.

I like to wear compression sleeves on my calfs more than tights although I am glad I had them both this weekend - the court I was working on had ice under it and it was freezing. When the teams went back in before the game I would have preferred to keep my jacket on.

The official working the game before mine on Saturday (and my JUCO assigner) wears some tights that are supposed to work really well. They are kind of hard to explain, but part of them is the normal material and part of them is a different material that doesn't stretch. I have heard they work really well, but...they cost $150.

My favorite mints are cinnamon Breath Savers. Can't find them anywhere. I always take the court with a Life Savers in my mouth and about 4-5 in my back pocket. Many times I get back to the locker room after the game not having had any of them, but some games I run out in the fourth quarter.

That said, I got a $75 gift certificate from Amazon from my wife yesterday and she told me to buy something "frivolous."

So I just bought a case of 48 rolls of these mints from Amazon for $39. I think this qualifies as frivolous.

In addition to all the above...

-A travel size bottle of Germ X or Purell

Applied pre-game, halftime and post. Think of all the hands the ball is touched by (including yours)...plus the fact your hands touch a piece of plastic that is put in your mouth repeatedly. Even more emphasis as we get into January and flu season ramps up.

I use water and soap for that....it works very well and is widely available in most areas.

Not to harp on these mints, I just found out that Hershey's has discontinued the cinnamon. Better stock up now while the product is still fresh (and available).

Well done. I'm a big fan of frivolous spending, as my wife (and my gear bag) can attest to.

Good call. I really like the Cinnamon ones too. The only place I can find them is a tiny little mom n pop quick shop near my house.

QT has the wintergreen and peppermint in single rolls, which are becoming more and more difficult to find. Most stores only offer them in a multi roll pack.....now why didn't I ask for a bunch of those for Christmas???
