Lead and Trail Notes

I was going over my notes from ref camp this past summer, and I found I had a number of items to work on as a trail, but only one as a lead. Among them...

Lead:
Stay wide during jump shots.

Trail:
Step down and read jump shots.
Stay BEHIND the dribbler in the backcourt. (I had a bad habit of getting ahead of the dribbler, for "efficiency" sake. Did it for years, never called on it until camp.)
When the ball goes into the lane, swing lower.
Stay out of bounds for throw in. (Again, an "efficiency" bad habit.)
Move to see "the hole" better.
Step circular on rebounding, not toward the basket

Any other "basics" you're working on, or want to add to this list?

As I was told years ago at a camp "that's why they call it trail"

Can you elaborate on this one? Not sure what this means.
