I have no idea why anyone schedules for games that far out. There really is just no benefit to either party.

So how do schools feel if someone breaks into small college basketball and has to turn back games a month or so before the season starts? I also don't see this as a good thing.

I would HATE trying to make commitments on my schedule a year a way. It isn't like you're arranging a million dollar contract. It might be the game officials have to play but it doesn't do anything for them.
