NBA crews

Just watching game four of Lakers/Celtics from '87 on NBA TV and found it interesting the NBA only used two officials on these games. Amazing to me the league didn't go 3-person on a permanent basis until '88-89.

It's also funny to me that the season they go 3-man is the season the "Bad Boy" Pistons start their reign.

When I watch those old school games, it amazes me how slow the game is. But man those guys from the 70s and 80s were poetry to watch.
