Traveling???

I worked a Tournament over the weekend. Early on in an 8th grade girls game. A1, while dribbling, falls to her knees. She continues dribbling and stands back up. All the time never lost the dribble. Partner calls traveling.
At half time I approach him and ask him what he saw on the violation. He replies that he will talk later. Game ends and he leaves faster than Superman.

Easy Answer ...

Smart player. Stupid partner.

Half time is usually 10 minutes, it only takes 5 seconds for him to say he screwed up the call.

I could do it in less than five seconds. I've had a lot of practice apologizing to my partners.

Yeah, but you usually cry when apologizing which takes a full minute.

Hey? What's wrong with me looking my best when I officiate a game. At my age, a little makeup never hurt anybody.

Is there some kind of setting that let's me know when there is a relevant post in a thread?

Just put BillyMac, and Mark Padgett, on your ignore list. It works for me.

To get back on topic here...my guess is your partner knows he screwed up that call and just didn't feel like sticking around to admit it. Call it embarrassment or whatever and just smile at him next time you see him.
