What was her position on the floor? On her front? On her back? On her side? Sitting? Kneeling? What were her movements? Turning her neck? Attempting to stand? Moving her arms? Her feet? mick |

She was on her knees with the ball touching the floor. She was not try to get up, she was trying to pass the ball.
Coach said after game the another offical told him that anytime a player is on the floor with the ball it is a traveling violation. |

If she started her dribble, she could get up while she was dribbling. If she had secured the ball and then went to her knees, a travel should be called. mick |

It is not my intent to be snippy this early in the morning, but I just can't pass up making this comment: Well of course the coach is going tell you that another official told him that anytime a player is on the floor with the ball it is a traveling violation. The coach wants the call to go his way. MTD, Sr.

PS- welcome to the forum. PPS- Casebook plays have dots between the numbers. Rule book plays have dashes between the numbers. Iow, 4.43.5 denotes a casebook play and 4-43-5 would denote a rule. |
