Throw in AFTER made free throw...Can the throw in be to a teamate who is out of bounds?

Rookie:

You have made almost 200 posts now in the Forum so you are not that much of a rookie anymore. Rather than give you the answer. I am going to give you an assignment. Read your rules book and casebook, and then give us all the answer.

Legal after a made basket. Player may pass the ball parallel to the end line to another player OOB who completes the throw-in.
After a turnover, it is a "Spot" throw-in, and this action would be a violation.

Great post Mark, shame your goal was undermined by this post.

I knew it was legal but saw a playoff official call a VIOLATION..sounds like he should be sitting next to be reading his casebook instead of a playoff game

Perhaps the receiver wasn't completely out of bounds yet.

Did someone violate causing the made basket to be nullified, and you missed that nullification?

The pass may also be parallel to the end line.
The direction of the pass is not of consequence as long as it is outside the boundary plane.
