Apparently, Rut, I have completely misunderstood every word you've ever typed on this board. I apologize. When I have disagreed with you, clearly it's b/c I'm an idiot and cannot grasp your posts.

If you feel that way, I am not going to disagree with you. ;)

I am deeply sorry. Please be assured that I know that there are many people who prefer men's basketball to women's, and I never thought that only you had that preference. I obviously did not state that clearly enough and again, I apologize.

If you feel that way, I am suuuurreeelly not going to disagree with you here either.

I meant to make a joke. It didn't turn out that way. I apologize. I'm done with this thread. "People Skills" was fun once, but I'm not willing to do it again.

If it was meant as a joke, why are you getting so huffy and puffy over my comments to you. Seems like you cannot take a little banter when it is thrown back at you.

BTW, this is always fun. ;)

Peace

Chuck, the great thing about starting a thread is that you always have the perogative of deleting it if you like.

(HINT! HINT!! HINT!!) ;)

Uhmmmm, Dan? I'm a little confused here....please tell us EXACTLY how you feel about this. No more beating around the bush or skirting the issue...just lay it all out there for us, OK??? Good...I knew you could do it!!! :)

Chuck,
You should have attributed the article to me.
There wouldn't have been any problems.

You'd think Rut'd be happy to have it attributed to him:
it was funny and well written....when's the last time
you could say that about anything written by Rut?

Is that the kind of women's volleyball that they play on the beach in s? ;)

Chuck

While I have no problems with young, shapely women in s (ok, I'll admit it, I have an affinity for it)playing volleyball, I was referring to the volleyball played on a court. :D

No doubt there are great differences in the appeal of certain men's vs. women's sports to me. For instance, I just can't get into men's mud wrestling.

Yes, and I would much rather go to Hooters than to a restaurant named after any part of the male anatomy...

I know. There really isn't anything appealing to me about a restaurant named "The Receding Hairline".

Looks kind of like an email address to me. Only thing missing is the 3 letter extension. :)

If this were a test question, I would say "True", but in real life, I would use my tremendous amount of "presence" and diffuse the situation without calling the T...unless of course it was any brand of women's ball, in which case I would not only T the potty-mouthed female, but would probably also eject her, as that type of behavior should not be allowed in the "purer" game of women's ball (beside that, the three fans in attendance would be offended by that kind of language?...:)

Actually it is said all the time by certain folks that have open minds. Better yet, if it was not well written, there would be nothing to oppose. But then again, I guess Chuck did not understand anything I said, that is why he kept responding. ;)

Peace
