True story! Just looking at the big picture. Sorta like when a ticky tack foul is called for a passer on a wide open dunk.

I've had this a few times, including a few weeks ago. (Yes, middle school boys.)

I'm the L, administering, A-1 shooting. B-2 steps in early, my arm is out for the delay. Shot hits nothing but floor, double tweet, my partner and I look at each other.

Him (nodding): "Violation."
Me (shaking my head and smiling): "DOUBLE violation, #32 blue stepped in early. Which way is the arrow?"
He glances at the table, then points for B.
Me: "BLUE BALL!"
Before I administer the throw in, it hit me like a ton of bricks to signal held ball to the table. A little out of sequence, but we got it.
