Had a 74-8 Freshman B boy's game, and a 49-1 Frosh B Girl's game this season.

I worked an 88-12 boys game, a 39-7 girls game, and a 71-5 girls game -- all in the span of about 26 days. The last two games were 6 days apart.

I'd love a close game for once.

Take mine, Rich. I've had two overtime games already this week.

Gladly. Nothing wrong with OT in my book.

I agree. I may be crazy but I like OT games.

Not crazy at all. An OT game is a better challenge than a blow-out. The only reason some complain about them, from my take, is that they take longer.

I hate blowouts, especially late in the week. My mind sometimes starts to wander and I am sure not having any fun.

Had one game this year end on a 55-footer to win at the buzzer. I will guarantee you my attention didn't wane that day.

Sadly, I hear guys that like these games. Easy game.....Free money......NO pressure, etc.

Sometimes I struggle keeping focus in a blowout. Especially when the losing team essentially gives up.

Rich, I was only half joking. While I'm out a little longer, at least I have a close game.

Actually blowouts can be more pressure than a close game IMO. For one more things can get out of hand if you do not keep doing your job. Close games often have nothing to do with you or if shots are going in then you do not have much to do.

Peace

Very true. Winning team decides to have a dunking contest. Losing team refuses to cooperate. Likely time for somebody to land on his head.
