Ball doesn't appear to have left the shooter's hand when the buzzer sounded. C was right there and got it right, IMHO.

It was incredibly close but I think the ball was not yet completely out of his hands when the buzzer started to go off. IMO, the official made the correct call.

Officials did a good job of getting off the court quickly, too.

Loved the announcers spending two minutes after the game talking about how the officials missed it. They probably still think so.

Reminds me of Friday...I was just done working a girls varsity game when the JV officials (working in the auxiliary gym) came in the locker room and one of the guys complained about how a coach was complaining "when I took the ball over to the table after the final horn."

I was in the shower and couldn't help myself. I stuck my head out and said, "Maybe that'll teach you to get the hell off the floor when the horn goes off."

My partners laughed and I realized that maybe, just maybe, I was a bit over the top with my tone.

Gosh, watched it 5 times and still can't tell.

Great job by calling C.

Although, appears to wave it off after ball is released, and for the sake of appearance, might be questioned. I don't think it could be any closer.
