HS jackets

I'm looking for a new HS jacket for this season. I've had Honig's jackets for a long time and just got a Cliff Keen jacket that's going back tomorrow.

I'm looking for a plain, black, zip-up jacket that doesn't have elastic at the bottom. A knit bottom like the current CCA jackets would be ideal.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

They do not make that exact jacket anymore. There are some attempts to replicate that jacket, but I have yet to see one. I am not sure where to find one with that exact style or even similar.

Peace

The Smitty zip-up jacket that several retailers sell is really nice. I've had it for a couple of years now and I like it.

The JT-1? Looks just like the Honig's jacket with elastic on the bottom.

I just got a CCA jacket and if they made one in all black I'd buy one. Knit material around the bottom, no elastic.

Davis told me that theirs was knit and it looked like it on the website. Then I get the jacket and it's a crappy Cliff Keen jacket that is just like the Honig's jacket, but worse. Back it goes.

I'll keep looking.

I joined a new association this yr and got a new jacket. It's much cheaper/lighter and has the elastic bottom. Agreed - not a big fan!
